Checking for understanding in a digital consultation

Making sure messages are clearly understood at the end of a 'remote' consultation.

Making sure messages are clearly understood at the end of a 'remote' consultation
    Author/Uploaded by

At the end of a “remote” consultation, it is important to be sure that messages and next steps are clearly understood. Especially when we are unable to read facial signs and body language. This video training picks up on the two conversations started in the previous sessions and explores what techniques can be used to check that the person at the other end of the call is clear about what happens next. By the end of the video, participants will have learned techniques for checking for understanding, whether on a phone call or a video consultation.
